Our history
Here are the most important milestones of our exciting journey:
October 2010: The prototype is created
The success story of Dualoo began in October 2010, when the development of the first prototype of Dualoo was launched. With the aim of optimizing the recruiting process, the founders worked on an innovative solution that would simplify the entire process and make it more efficient.
Summer 2013: The spark of the founding idea
In the summer of 2013, the first talks took place, which further substantiated the idea of founding a company. The vision of founding our own company and developing the prototype into a marketable product began to take shape. These discussions laid the foundation for the subsequent founding of Dualoo.
April 2014: The point of no return
April 22, 2014 marked a decisive turning point in the history of Dualoo. On this day, the decision was made to finally embark on the path of founding a company. There was no turning back – the founders were determined to realize their vision and bring their idea to market.
January 2015: The official foundation of Dualoo
On January 13, 2015, the time had finally come: Dualoo was officially founded. This step was the result of years of hard work and careful planning. The foundation stone was laid for the further development and growth of Dualoo.
March 2015: The first online presence
The first Dualoo website went online just a few months after the company was founded, on March 16, 2015. This was an important step in raising the company’s profile and making potential customers aware of the solution.
August 2021: Dual Education GmbH becomes Dualoo AG
6.5 years after its foundation, we are taking the next step: Dual Education GmbH is becoming Dualoo AG. The name of our e-recruiting tool “Dualoo”, which is a matter of course for our customers, now also becomes the company name.
January 2025: 10 years of Dualoo - 10 highlights
For ten years, Dualoo has been growing and developing – with innovations, new features and a growing team. We celebrated our anniversary with 10 special highlights – especially for customers, employees and partners.

Yes, the use of Dualoo is particularly useful for small companies. It helps to simplify the application process and make it more efficient, which is especially important when human resources are limited. Dualoo’s intuitive user interface and customisability make it particularly useful for companies looking for simple but powerful recruiting software. By the way: our “smallest” customer has just 10 employees.
How does Dualoo improve the application experience for applicants?
Dualoo makes the application process simpler, more personal and more transparent. From attractive job advertisements and a simple application to fast yet personal communication, Dualoo helps you to optimise the candidate experience.
How much training is required?
Dualoo’s user interface is intuitively designed, which minimises the amount of training required. In addition to the option of setting up Dualoo yourself with the help of the training centre, we also offer individual training courses. For companies with up to 100 employees, Dualoo can be set up in a four-hour training course for administrators. For companies with more than 100 employees, we recommend an eight-hour training course.
What does Dualoo do for data security?
Your data is stored in an ISO-certified data centre in Switzerland. Backups are carried out several times a day. Your data is also end-to-end encrypted (256-bit SSL) when it is on the move, so that no one can read it.
How much does Dualoo cost?
The pricing model is based on the number of employees and is therefore suitable for small to large companies. Unlimited user licences & job advertisements and personal support – all included. The menu item “Prices” takes you directly to the price calculator.
