Why are we committed to climate protection?
We are aware of the importance of acting in an environmentally conscious manner. That is why we have been implementing ambitious measures to reduce our company’s ecological footprint since our company was founded.
In addition to our own measures, we have been working with the myclimate foundation since March 2020 to fulfill our responsibility towards future generations.
Preventing and reducing CO2 emissions
The most important aspect of our sustainability strategy is to prevent the generation of CO2 or at least reduce it to a minimum. We see this as an important component of our net-zero climate strategy.
We rely on the following measures to achieve this:
- We reduce travel distances and work from home
- We use co-working spaces
- We use green electricity on our own premises
- We rely on public transportation
- We are a paperless company
- We use company cars with particularly low fuel consumption
- We have digitized our sales department and hold webinars instead of customer visits
Support for climate protection projects
We take responsibility for the CO2 emissions that arise despite our measures and finance effective climate protection projects of the myclimate foundation to the same extent, which save and reduce the emissions produced.
The myclimate foundation offers a good and simple tool for calculating the CO2 emissions produced. They not only offer private individuals the opportunity to calculate the CO2 emissions for a flight or household. The CO2 emissions of a company can also be calculated. In our case, CO2 emissions in 2025 will amount to 29.9 tonnes.
We support carbon offset projects with our donation, primarily in Switzerland, and only support projects that meet independent quality standards. Myclimate offers a selection of strictly audited carbon offset projects here.
