NEW: Do Good Day on the occasion of our anniversary
With our Do Good Day, we give our employees the chance to spend a paid day doing good – be it in social organizations, nature conservation projects or other charitable initiatives. Tamara and Daniela spontaneously chose the Sitterhöfli animal shelter in St. Gallen, which lovingly cares for animals in need.
Shovel for the future: trees, shade and stability
The job was not for the faint-hearted (or rather weak arms): Tamara and Daniela helped to dig holes for deep-rooted trees. These trees will not only provide shade for the dog enclosures, but also stabilize the slope, which threatens to slide during storms.
Mike from Sitterhöfli warned us in advance: sore muscles are inevitable! And indeed, after a day full of physical work, we felt muscles that we didn’t even know existed. But the effort was worth it and the feeling of having done something good outweighed all the effort.
The Sitterhöfli needs a new roof
During our stay, we noticed that the roof is covered in scaffolding and urgently needs to be replaced. The shelter is happy to receive support. Find out more here.
