Also this year we would like to help people in need and donate symbolically 10 francs for each customer to the project SolidarAndhra.
SolidarAndhra has been working for orphans and young people in the Indian state of Telangana since 2007. The father of Lukas (our Co-Founder) has been involved in this project for years and has also been on site several times.
Meanwhile, the association supports and cares for about 400 children and young people, 70 of them in our school for hearing-impaired children. The aim is to ensure that the children, most of whom are orphans, have a place to stay with surviving family members and to provide them with schooling as well as medical care. Another area of activity is the support of women and children infected with HIV.
We are very pleased that with our contribution the financing for the education of 6 children is secured.
